2011 GRANDFINAL DAY
- 2011 Grandfinal day was held at Camden Civic Centre. The new venue proved to be very successful with audience and competitors alike. it was very pleasing to see a large audience with standing room only especially for the Junior and Intermediate Sections in the morning.

The highlight of the day was the presentation of Life Membership to Mrs. June Meres. Mrs. Meres has been an integral part of the Burns Association for many years including holding the position of Competition Organiser for the past 18 years. The Association is delighted that Mrs. Meres has accepted this honour.
Team Competitions 2011
Team competitions were held over the past two (2) weekends. Congratulations to all Clubs who provided great competition in all sections.
Casula Club entered their very first team in the 5&6 year team section, congratulations to Linda Whyte and the Casula Club, the girls performed very well.
The 5 & 6 year old section was very competitive and the judges commented on the high standard of all teams. Picton Club were successful as the winners with the judges commenting on their "wow" factor. St. Andrews came a very close 2nd place followed by the team from Macarthur Club in 3rd place. All teams were gorgeous.
Congratulations to Anne McLeod and the St.Peters Club who won the 7&8 year section. St. Andrews came a very close 2nd and Kentlyn coming in 3rd place.
In the 9-12 year section, the judges commented on the discipline of the winning team from Macarthur Club. Well done to Lisa Crick on winning this section on her first year of teaching. Picton were placed 2nd, 3rd place was awarded to St. Andrews and Douglas Park placed 4th.
The Senior section was very entertaining and was very close. Congratulations to the Macarthur Club for winning this section. St. Andrews were placed 2nd and equal 3rd was awarded to Rosemeadow and Kentlyn. Congratulations to all teams and competitors on a fabulous section.
The Ladies section was also closely contested with Macarthur placing 1st & 4th and Kentlyn placing 2nd & 3rd. Congratulations to all the Ladies that competed and were part of a team, it is great to see so many Ladies competing at competitions.
Competitors will now prepare for the Champion Girl/Ladies competitions which will be held on Saturday 29th October 2011 and Saturday 5th November 2011, please check dates and times with your Instructresses.
